Samsung Offering Note 7 Exchanges, Refunds at Some US Airports

Malaysian budget airline group AirAsia has prohibited carrying Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones onboard any of its flights, including those operated by AirAsia India, due to safety concerns.

The ban has come after US Department of Transportation issued an emergency order to ban the gadget on all flights to and from the country on Friday.

The southern Chinese city's flagship carrier Cathay Pacific and its low-priced offshoot Dragonair had also said passengers were no longer allowed to carry the devices on any of their flights.

"We recognize that banning these phones from airlines will inconvenience some passengers, but the safety of all those aboard an aircraft must take priority", Foxx stated.

New York Times dares Trump to sue
At his campaign event Friday afternoon, Trump continued to insist that all of the accusations now arising are totally false. She said Trump set up meeting at a hotel room in Beverly Hills, where he greeted her with an "open-mouthed kiss".

Samsung announced on October 11 to permanently stop its production and sales of the devices globally.

Nearly all mainland Chinese airlines as well as South Korea's Asiana, Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express have also banned the Note 7. "Anyone violating the ban may be subject to criminal prosecution in addition to fines".

An airline flight ban on Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is spreading fast after reports some phones have caught fire.

In September Samsung issued a recall of the original exploding devices after dozens of them caught fire or emitted smoke.

Rockstar's Red logo generates more buzz than most game releases
Red Dead Redemption never made it to the PC, probably because the actual game code was apparently a bit of a mess. The original " Red Dead Redemption " title was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles in May 2010.

Samsung users we spoke with do not have the Galaxy note 7, but are still disappointed. Authorities from Canada, Israel and Japan also banned the phone from being carried on flights, even if it's switched off or in airplane mode.

"Air New Zealand is strongly advising travellers not to bring these devices to the airport with them", a statement said. Watchers of the mobile phone industry say there have been at least 96 reports of the phone overheating.

The botched recall is raising questions about Samsung's initial analysis of the Note 7 phone's problems.

Through their Twitter account on Sunday, Etihad Airways requested passengers to not carry the phone in their checked-in baggage or in cabin baggage.
