Pistons set to make announcement Tuesday on downtown move

The Pistons announced they will move downtown Detroit and begin playing at the new Little Caesars Arena, home of the Detroit Red Wings, starting next season. They are likely to play at Little Caesars Arena, which is going to be the home of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings, who are in their final season playing at Joe Louis Arena.

Last month, Pistons owner Tom Gores announced that the team was "close to a deal" to move back to downtown Detroit.

Now that the Detroit Pistons are moving back downtown, into a shiny new arena, could they be in line to host an All-Star Game?
