Third Of Americans Don't Know Obamacare Is ACA

Cody PriceFeb 08, 2017

Thankfully, our Republican-led Congress and President Trump are beginning the process of dismantling Obamacare, i.e. the so-called Affordable Care Act. Trump actually managed to give an answer to the American people when speaking in an interview with FOX News' Bill O'Reilly that aired just before the Super Bowl.

The reason why Republicans are so scared of repealing the ACA/Obamacare is once the law is gone, the house of cards that they built is going to tumble down on top of them. By repealing the Affordable Care Act, the president, as well as members of Congress, would be impeding on the already slow progress we've made as a nation when it comes to providing health care for all-a task every developed nation should be working towards.

Trump also answered affirmatively when asked if taxes will be slashed this year.

Tiffany & Co.'s First Super Bowl Ad Will Feature Lady Gaga
As for how she even got the gig to take over the world's biggest stage, Gaga explained what is basically an application process. The Super Bowl is just days away and now, more than ever, fans are wondering what Lady Gaga has planned for the halftime show.

President Trump: Yea - in the process and maybe it'll take 'til sometime into next year, but we are certainly going to be in the process - very complicated. The American people are hurting under this law and they have spoken clearly.

I believe this is what the President means when he says we will repeal and replace Obamacare simultaneously and what Speaker Ryan means when he says we will repeal and replace Obamacare concurrently.

"Obamacare has failed the American people, with one broken promise after another", said a spokesman for the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, according to CNBC.

Where To Buy Girl Scout Cookies In LA
The new Girl Scout cookies aren't the only food (or drink) to chase the popularity of s'mores by recreating their flavor. Holly Furtner, service unit manager for the Girl Scouts, was bundled up as she checked off cars that had loaded up.

"Though Republicans were more likely to know that Obamacare is another name for the A.C.A., only 47 percent of them said expanded Medicaid coverage and private insurance subsidies would be eliminated under repeal (compared with 79 percent of Democrats)", the Times column noted. In all likelihood, he knows that repealing Obamacare without a suitable replacement would leave around 20 million Americans uninsured, and thus at risk of "dying in the streets".

"Whether I do it for $30,000 or $90,000 a year, I will always be confident in the sad fact that people are always in need of help", he said. We are going to be done legislating with respect to healthcare and Obamacare this year. It will take time for insurers and agencies to shift to the new Republican plan.

One of the major critiques of Obamacare is its cost.

Comcast Xfinity Roku App Comes With Monthly Fee
It "will not include the ability to rent or buy programming or play back previously purchased programs", the cable company said. Most of the Xfinity features you're used to will be present, but there are a few restrictions while the app is still in beta.

Under normal conditions, the opposition party would have worked with the administration to improve the law, but the Republicans were far more interested in using the ACA as a political bludgeon than in seeing that its goals were achieved, to the detriment of us all. Ever since Trump's election - and even years before - the GOP has been hoping, praying, and grinding through the mechanics of a replacement strategy, but that trajectory is entirely dependent on an unnatural act for the GOP. "We will fix the damage that Obamacare has caused millions of Americans".
