Swiss tennis ace Roger Federer unveils One Handed Backhand Boys band

After a hiccup in Dubai, where he was stunned by world number 116 Evgeny Donskoy, Federer has emerged from one of the toughest draws in ATP history to reach the final of the Indian Wells Masters.

The imperious Roger Federer claimed a record-equalling fifth BNP Paribas Open title with a straight-sets victory over Stan Wawrinka on Sunday.

"I would like to congratulate Roger", a tearful Wawrinka said. If the world number six could pick up his third title this year he could climb as high as fourth in the world.

The "Backhand Boys" made their debut last January during the Australian Open, with their raw rendition getting its fair share of laughs and critics. Wawrinka has been tucked under Federer's shadow for all of his career, but he has managed to emerge into the light in the last three years, winning three major titles and of course claiming the Davis Cup with Federer in 2014. I'm sorry to the fans but I have to put my health first and I hope you understand. "It's a attractive feeling".

Arnold Palmer Invitational: Tyrrell Hatton & Matthew Fitzpatrick three shots off lead
The four-time major victor was one-over for the day after six before going eagle-double bogey-birdie in his next three holes. Yes, but only briefly as McIlroy dumped his tee shot at the par-three 17th and racked up an embarrassing double-bogey five.

"After Australia, I wasn't in a good position", he said.

No hard feelings between the two, though, as Federer just kept on laughing after Wawrinka's quip.

Like an aging wine, Roger Federer continues to defy the aging process when working various angles of a tennis court.

Federer said. "Because this was not part of the plan, to win Australia and Indian Wells, I can tell you that".

Michigan-Oklahoma State Prediction: Best Matchup of the First Round
The star guard missed a critical front end of a 1-and-1, and Walton made it hurt with a conversion in the lane for an 86-79 lead. MI sealed it at the free-throw line , though Oklahoma State finished the game with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

His runup to Sunday's final against Stanislas Wawrinka, in many ways, lacked the same intensity as the Australian Open, when he became the first player since Mats Wilander to win a Grand Slam title after defeating four top-10 players consecutively. With yesterday's triumph in the all-Swiss final, Federer joined Novak Djokovic as the only man to win five Indian Wells titles.

Federer lost his serve for the first time in the tournament when Wawrinka broke through in the first game of the second set, but the 35-year-old Federer never lost his poise. "She was 30-love up couple of times on her serves, and I always keep coming back".

"I came here for the first time 17 years ago so to be here again as the champion is an incredible feeling".

"Unfortunately I am unable to play today due to sickness", he wrote in a statement posted to his Twitter feed.
